Here in Jackson Wyoming, the weather is two months behind New Hampshire – the lilacs are in bloom, and the few summer plants like tomatoes are in buckets to be brought in during the night like pets. It is brisk, but tolerable here, but as we head northward the temperature gets cooler, and the endless breezes keep things chilly.

We drive around Jackson a little, and find their town park, with its four arches, made from animal antlers – quite the sight in this prosperous tourist town that guards the southern gates to the Grand Tetons National Park.
